You Have to Earn Your Wings

The report out of camp today is that the boys look good with pads on and Denard continues to impress. Other reports say that Devin Gardner has shown some real accuracy throwing the ball during a passing drill. The Big Ten Network is at practice today doing it's regular summer tour of each Big Ten Camp. 

So there are a number of reports, tweets, and other things flying around right now.  One of things that has been mentioned is that Tate (who is banged up today) doesn't have the Maize wings on his helmet today.  That it's just a solid navy blue.  Some may say that's because he is banged up, others may speculate that he hasn't earned his wings yet this season and will get them back in the good graces of the Michigan coaches.  

I guess we will see how the rest of the camp shapes out.  You could also say that:  JT Turner took his wings and flew out of camp. 

David Brandon and Coach Rodriguez will be leaving this afternoon for the meeting with the NCAA on Saturday.
