Brady Hoke and staff have had a pretty incredible 13 month run. Quick Re-Cap:
- Hired in January as the Michigan Head Coach
- Had about a month to finish the 2011 recruiting class.
- Went 10-2 during the regular reason
- Won the Sugar Bowl in January.
- Finished with a top 5 2012 recruiting class on 2/1/12
- Received 10 verbal commitments for the 2013 between 2/18 & 2/25
They deserve some time off to relax and re-charge the batteries. Many of the coaches are taking some time off this week, with the next big visit weekend is on 3/10.
- Wolverines at the combine: Mike Martin put up 36 reps during the bench press, Mike Molk put up 41. Junior Hemingway had good showing on the 3 cone drill and the 20 yard shuttle.
- Would Michigan take a 6th OL in this class? I think they would if it's a really high profile guy like Pocic. I think having him on board would help getting Ty Isaac to Michigan.
- Michigan loses to Purdue at home: That was a tough loss on Saturday. It was Michigan's last home game for Stu and Zack and basically puts the Big Ten Title out of reach. I have had some concerns about Michigan's offense the last few games. It seems it's basically letting Tre Burke create with a little pick and roll mixed in. Hardaway is struggling with his shot and Stu and Zack have been inconsistent from 3. Poor Zack got beat off the dribble on defense most of Saturday. Michigan's defense has been making up for some poor possessions on offense. That defense got consistently beat on Saturday. They need to get that fixed before tournament time.
