Coach Hoke held a presser on Thursday and gave us some brief highlights on how practice is going:
- He called out Thomas Rawls at RB and playing some FB.
- Justice Hayes is doing a nice job at TB.
- Elliott Mealer is doing a great job at LG and in front of Chris Bryant right now who is playing RG.
- Early Enrollees are doing well
- There is a good competition brewing at DE between Brennen Beyer and Frank Clark and Jake Ryan and Cam Gordon at the SAM.
- Hoke will have practices this weekend and will invite HS coaches in for a look and a coaching clinic.
- Questions about his father were not allowed.
Recent Michigan visitor DB Devin Butler cancelled his trip to OSU this weekend and will make his decision on May 12. I think the smart money is on Penn State.
For all of us junkies here is some video on Michigan's scrimmage. It seems the gray face masks and numbers on the helmets are here to stay. Passing game looks sharp and the run defense looks pretty good. Don't hit Denard!!!
