Like predicted Michigan landed it's first LB of the 2013 class today with the commitment of Mike McCray a 4 star LB to Rivals. Mike comes in at 6'4 230 pounds and plays his football at Trotwood-Madison in Ohio former school to the likes of Roy Roundtree and Mike Shaw.
Mike is 4 stars to Rivals and 24/7, ESPN 150 Watch list and not rated yet to Scouts. His offer list includes: Tenn, Illinois, Arizona, Oklahoma, BC, WVU, Nebraska, Minnesota and many others. His father played for the Buckeyes but he did not have an OSU offer. "I have committed to Michigan," McCray stated. "I've been feeling like Michigan was the right school for me for two weeks now, and there's no reason for me to wait any longer. It's the right time for me to commit, and I'm very excited to be a Wolverine. I'm being recruited by Coach (Mark) Smith and we have a great relationship. We speak at least once or twice per week."
Mike says he is being recruited to play inside LB but might end up outside or at DE before his time in Ann Arbor is done. This is another good pick up and look for one or two more LB domino's to fall this week. I am betting on at least one more. Mike is the 12th 4 star player to Rivals in the 2013 Michigan class.
