Michigan Thursday: On The Road Again

Michigan still has an outside shot at a share of the regular season Big Ten Championship.  MSU lost to IU two nights ago and if they lose to OSU this weekend, they would share the Championship with any team with 5 losses.  OSU beat Northwestern last night with a basket with 3 seconds left.  They are in line for a share of the BIG if they beat MSU.

Michigan could be one of those championship teams if they play well on the road during their last two games.   Tonight they play at Illinois and Sunday at Penn State.   Michigan can and should beat both teams, but we know all Big Ten teams struggle on the road and Illinois is a talented team that has been struggling of late.   Let's hope the Wolverines play good defense and hit some open shots tonight.  They have to put that Purdue loss behind them.   Side Note: Jalen Rose is calling the game for ESPN.

  • 2013 TE Scott Orndoff from Pittsburgh has de-committed from Wisconsin and is visiting Michigan on the 6th.   Scott is 6'6 and 245 pounds and has offers from Michigan, MSU, Wisconsin, Virgina, BC, Pitt and WVU.  Looks like the coaches want 3 TE's in this class with two already committed in Butt and Hill.  I would say 3 is the max for sure.
