Big Ten Weekend Preview

Let's jump right into it:

Big Ten Game of the Week:

Nebraska at OSU:  (OSU -3.5) This is a match-up between two of three ranked Big Ten teams and we know OSU is only playing for pride without a chance at a Big Ten Title or a Bowl Game.  Nebraska came back last week and beat Wisconsin at home and OSU beat MSU on the road.   Both games were ugly at times and both games showed flashes of good play.   I think that is what we have in the Big Ten this year, lots of bad play mixed in with some good.    I don't think Nebraska plays very well on the road.  OSU 28 Nebraska 13

MSU at IU:  (MSU -15)  MSU will run the ball non-stop and I doubt IU will be able to stop it.  If MSU doesn't have an ND and OSU game let down they will win this game easily.  MSU 31 IU 10

Northwestern at Penn State: (PSU -2.5)  I know Penn State has been playing better of late but Northwestern offense will be too much for Nittany Lions.   NW 24 PSU 21

Illinois at Wisconsin: (Wisc -14)  Wisky looked like they were getting back to normal last week but lost to Nebraska.  Illinois is at least 2 years away from being a decent football team again.  Wisconsin 38 Illinois 14

Iowa and Minnesota are off this week.

Michigan is a -3 at Purdue and that preview will be on Friday morning.

Bonus Upset Warning:  Miami over ND.  Miami is almost a 2 touchdown under dog vs. Notre Dame on Saturday night in Chicago.   Miami got embarrassed by Kansas State but has played better the last two weeks.   Denard's pick-a-thon covered up a ton of problems with ND on both sides of the ball.  Miami likes to score points and if this becomes a shoot out, I'm not sure ND has the scoring power to keep up.
