Michigan Monday: Has Weekend Updates

  • Team Michigan beat Team Ohio for the first annual Border Classic.  Jared Wangler was named the defensive MVP.   Noah Furbush left the game with a minor injury.

  • Former Michigan commit DB Shaun Crawford has committed to Notre Dame.  Unless something major changes in the scheduling he will never face Michigan in his career at ND.

  • 2015 DE DaQuan Hawkins tweeted this out this weekend: University Of Michigan Is The Best Campus I've Been On And I Haven't Seen Anything Yet

  • 2016 QB Malik Henry impressed coaches at the SMSB this past week and also visited A2 this weekend.  Penn State also offered this week.

  • Rutgers lands LSU transfer QB Hayden Rettig, who will have to sit out a year.

  • Sunday was Michigan Basketball 2016 Offer day.  Derryck Thornton Jr. did receive one but did not commit right away.   Others receiving offers include: Tyus Battle, Quentin Goodin, Seth Towns, Jon Teske and Cassius Winston.
