As many of you know already, Michigan's Football Camp is underway. This is a great way for those fringe players to earn a Michigan offer. Here are a few that have already accomplished that goal.
- 4 Star Indiana WR Austin Mack earned one
- Another 4 star WR Dylan Crawford got an offer as well
- TE from Ohio (OH) Luke Ferrell camped in A2 and got his offer. He will be camping at "that team down south" today.
Michigan extended only one offer at the Sound Mind Sound Body last week. It was 2016 LB Dele' Harding who was keeping up with 2015 LB's Darrin Kirkland Jr. and Tyriq Thompson during drills. That is pretty elite company for a 2016 prospect.
Dele is from Eastern Christian Academy, the program that gave the Wolverines true freshmen Freddy Canteen and Brandon Watson. If you remember, Freddy and Brandon earned offers at exactly this time last year after camping at Michigan. It would be great if the Michigan coaches could start a nice pipeline at that school. Dele seems very interested in playing with his former teammates at Michigan but will take his time in making a decision.
Speaking of Tyriq Thompson, he camped at Michigan on Tuesday and continues to be a high priority recruit for the Wolverines (being a legacy player). Many insiders had MSU trending ahead of Michigan but the Wolverines are trying to make up some ground and having him at camp is a great sign.
- Cincinnati 5 star LB Justin Hilliard will make his decision this month. The smart money is on the Buckeyes but he is fresh off a visit to Iowa where his brother plays. The Wolverines have a shot but a small one.
