Iggy was named the Big Ten Freshman of the year. First honor for a Wolverine since Trey Burke in 2011 - 2012. The rest of Michigan starters made an All Big Ten Team or honorable mentioned.
- Devin Funchess is going to Indy on a 1 year contract at $13M. Should get a few more looks with Luck under center.
- So the Greg Mattison jump to OSU makes a little more sense to me now. Greg was making $900K a year as Michigan DC's, his latest contract at Michigan was $525K, OSU is paying him $1.1M a year. The Wolverines cut his salary by $400K and OSU was looking to double it. It wasn't a Maize and Blue vs. Scarlett and Gray thing, it was all about the GREEN.
- Michigan makes top 5 for 2020 Aurora (CO) Eaglecrest four-star center Reece Atteberry. Others included OSU, Duke, ND, and Nebraska.
- Michigan also makes top 6 for 2020 Louisville OT John Young. Also on the list: Georgia, Purdue, Louisville, Kentucky, and Ohio State.
