Time For Jimmy To Resign

This Michigan Football team hasn't been prepared to play football the last two games.  Michigan had two weeks to prepare for Wisconsin and they looked like the Dolphins playing the Patriots on a Thursday night.

I never thought I would say this about a Jim Harbaugh team but the players are not prepared to play and everything about this team is very predictable.   We will get to the offense in a minute but the defense is just awful.   Don Brown's defense schemes and positioning make zero sense, Glasgow is in a DT's position on the goal line.   Hudson regularly lines up outside of where the play is being run.   The defensive line and LB's are so programed to rush the passer they run themselves out of plays  It happens every damn play.  Don Brown is washed up and needs to go or at least give up a ton of responsibility.   Hill was so out of position on the run plays, Taylor got cramps by running into open space.

Michigan's offense is just a joke of turnovers, terrible line play, no blitz pick up, and injuries.   Michigan QB's are just getting run over on every play.   I have no idea what the hell they were doing with Charbonnet?  I guess the rumors of him being hurt during the bye week, where accurate.

I'm now officially asking Harbaugh and Brown for their resignation.   Brown needs to be stripped of his duties on Monday and Harbaugh should finish the season and step down.    I don't know what the hell is going on with Gattis but this reminds me of the last time Michigan hired an OC from Alabama.
Michigan put on a Rich Rod performance today, where the only bright spot was Michigan's punter Will Hart.  When a team gets worse coming off a bye week, something is wrong with the program.

Is there something wrong with Jimmy?  I don't know if its something at home or in Schembechler Hall but Harbaugh is not the coach he was early in his Michigan tenure.   He is robo coach and his team is playing like it.  No heart, no fun, no energy, and no execution.

I expected Michigan was going to lose this game, as I mentioned they haven't played well in nearly a year.  I just didn't expect them to roll over and hide in the first quarter.   If I have to dig for any bright spots, they didn't quit at half.

  • This Big Ten crew was awful and should be demoted.   That Ronnie Bell catch was 100% a catch and changed the momentum in the game.

  •  I really enjoyed having Ben Mason in there again, but why the hell are you giving him the ball on the 7 yard line?  He is a fucking DT now and your giving him the ball early in the game when Michigan needs an important TD?  That is a horrific decision.  I know Turner can't pick up a blitz to save his life, but he sure as hell can run the ball.

  • What the hell is wrong with Michigan's offensive line?  They can't pick up a stunt?  This was an awful performance by Warinner's group.

Right now Michigan's Football Team is the Purdue Boilermakers and heading in the wrong direction.

Perfect observation.... Except we have been out coached in all 3 games this year...

The JH hype didn't work... Time to move on... Brown needs to go Monday... Promote Partridge to DC

8M a year for this??? NO WAY...

Resign immediately Jim your coaching is 💩.

Is he fired yet?

2 year extension in the works I'm sure.

I know they call it over reaction Monday. But EMU would have played a better game against Wisconsin. The defense was terrible. No one on the edge??? Offense is really "Lost in Space." This roster is full of big talent, kids that should shine. Harbaugh can recruit great talent, but no precision or discipline on defense or offense. Really painful..

Ever since our boy Jimmy lost to Ohio State on the 4th down stands he lost his passion for football

Thanks everyone for agreeing with me on Jim Harbaugh.... for two years I've been saying to fire him.... he will resign after the season trust me

Thats a very good observation Michigan Man...makes sense to me...so what are the chances that he will actually go? Or do we now just waste the next several years as well? My hats off to anyone that attends next weekends game...

I wonder if our guys where Bandannas that say “JIM” at the end of the year

Listen to me Michigan is still a top 10 job in the country if the money is given to a big-time named coach they will run here....

If Michigan was Purdue that would be an upgrade. They're more like a MAC team fighting for wins to get a bowl game.

Anyways...

The preparation, execution, play calling and player management was terrible…to the point of seeming non-existent. Were they drinking, golfing, and dicking around for two weeks? It’s F’s across the board.

Wisconsin is a very good team, but they’re also very beatable. Coming off of a bye looking this flat, confused, and unprepared should cost at least one person their job and put everybody else on the hot seat.

I know it’s only the third game of the season, but it’s a tire fire. It’s one thing if it’s a competitive loss like they lost by a TD or less and it went down to the wire. This was not a competitive loss. This is unacceptable, especially coming off of a bye week.

-Don Brown was exposed in the last two games last season and hasn’t been able to adapt i.e. go to more zone. Teams are going to continue to exploit the weaknesses until they’re fixed.
-The defense can’t tackle, so even if Brown could adapt it wouldn’t matter.
-The offense line is a sieve.
-QB is a clusterfuck. Patterson is a weak armed turnover machine. McCaffery was knocked out and I don’t expect he’ll be back soon. Milton is the only healthy one…and he has no accuracy and questionable with reading coverage.
-Turnovers…more turnovers again. 2 fumbles and 2 interceptions…although one of them was in the last minute when the game was over, so fuck it.
-Harbaugh needs to go back to the NFL. He’s in year 4 and it has been constant under performing. This was supposed to be the year. Instead of being an 11+ win team it looks like they’re in for a struggle to get to 8 wins. He’s not a bad coach…he just hasn’t adapted (and can’t?) to the modern college game. He’s stuck in 20th century football strategy.

Jim H has no fire left in his belly.
He is a mascot not a coach
consistently being outcoached.
please resign and have Les Miles on speed dial.

Besides Jim H resigning immediately by Monday, Don Brown needs to Go.
Call Les Miles now.

I expected this.. did not post before the game, because I was too lazy, and indifferent.

I admit that I drank the kool-laid along with virtually everyone else; when Jimmy was hired.

something is missing here (like a truck I drove that had a bad cylinder, until they bought me a new one)

Is it descension on the team, lack of cohesiveness amongst players... remember the 49 niners wanted Jimmy out even though he did extremely well.

Bringing in these transfers... does that create friction?

You think this one hurts, wait until we lose a few more... and I think it's a little bit of a joke... when TV announcer's talk about the rivalry between Ohio State and Michigan (THEY OWN US, WE ARE THEIR BITCH!)

Something is wrong, but I can not put a finger on it... Maybe Jimmy ought to go back to eating boogers, because now he eat's his own fecal matter!

Did the Michigan coach go to Ohio State to get away from the toxic situation at Michigan! Speed in space, is more like a "slap in the face"... somebody call Urban Meyer! It seems like Ohio State could hire a bum off of High Street and still kick our booty!!

What is the greatest similarity between a street walker in inner city "Detroit", and the Michigan football team... they both suck "BIG TIME"

Michiganman, you’re off your rocker if you think Lincoln Riley is coming to this dumpster fire. He has no reason to leave Oklahoma for anything but the NFL. Oklahoma will match or beat any offer he gets. Stop living in fantasy world!

I agree Harbaugh needs to go as today was zero heart or effort. Only chance he has is if they win out and the last 3 weeks we’ve all watched their is .000001% chance of that happening. I’m not sure where to go to next, but lets all live in reality and understand that we can’t get whomever we want. Money isn’t the only thing. Today was sad and right not I don’t see a light at the end of this dark tunnel.

MichiganMan said...

Shut up M Don.... offer the money to Lincoln let him decide if he wants to come or not... got to take a risk and a chance or else you never know

MichiganMan said...

Guys if you think this beating was bad wait til Notre Dame come to Ann Arbor

M Don said...

Michiganman...it’s reality. No reason for him to leave. Also the weather in the north can limit his open system and I’m sure that would be big thing for him. That is true reality if you’ve lived in many areas of the country you would realize that. Sort of like old rich rods system caving very year as the weather got colder. Now that’s not saying he’s not a great coach and I would love to have him, but the chance to get him is slim to none.

You seem to get rather combative whenever anyone questions anything you say. Grow up and get over it.

Zero chance riley comes to AA. When he turns us down you look foolish in the media & the coaching search looks like a cluster F. I think it's time to let jim go. Allow don brown to finish as head coach. Look to a very successful lower level coach. North Dakota states coach has had alot of success, UAB's coach has been successful. There are options but none this year. At least I can watch baseball playoffs I guess.

There's nothing foolish about turning down a job it happens all the time

So this is something I've been wondering since the 2 boner decisions to go for it on 4th down against Army. 1st passing on the FG and taking the lead, and 2nd passing on punting Army deep, knowing it takes them about 7 minutes or more to go 80 yards. Is Jim Harbaugh all there anymore? He's definitely not the coach that resurrected Stanford, nor is he the guy that took SF to the SB. Never really paid much attention to Jim when he went to the NFL, but I can't help but wondering if he took too many hits to the head and maybe were seeing the effects of CTE on his decision making?

Goose said...

I'm also wondering if Harbaugh has lost the team. They didnt seem to play with any effort. Maybe locker room problems or some troubles with program unit, I'm not sure but something has definitely changed in AA.

Ranked 20th? Way to high...

Goose said...

No reason at all that I can see that makes UM worthy of a top 25 ranking. 🔥Harbaugh Now.

MichiganMan said...

Guys "Horrible" will win 9 to10 games a year average.... occasionally he will have a bad year when he will win 7 to 8 games.... so the question is 9 or 10 wins a year is that good enough for the program... ?.... I think it is good enough so I think I'll just accept it for now... unless we can Urban Meyer or Lincoln Riley

Sorry Cormack...just little upset!!

Cormac said...

MichiganMan,

Thanks for the explanation, but it doesn't justify your ignorant response. A lot of people were upset after the game. Especially the players I would think. Michigan getting blown out in a football game isn't the end of the world. I am sure that the sun still came up in the east the next day even though Michigan lost.

Do everyone a favor and delete your stupid response.
