It's always interesting when true freshmen get their jersey numbers. As it can be an early indication to future success. For example, if a young WR gets the #1 jersey, there is a good chance he might see the field early. The star of the 2022 was clearly 5-star DB Will Johnson and he will wear Charles Woodson's old #2. No pressure there! Below are the numbers for the early enrolled freshmen:

My initial thoughts are, Clemons coming in with 0 could be a sign he is ready to contribute next season and love that Derrick Moore will be sporting #8 on the defensive line. I have a really good feeling about Moore and think he might be the steal of this entire recruiting class. One QB grabbed Tom Brady's old number and the other Denard's.
- Eamonn Dennis has switched from DB to WR on the Spring Roster. The kid is known for great speed so he may be heading to a slot WR role. The WR room is going to have a ton of speed. Not sure if I have reported this or not, but Sainristil is listed as a WR on the roster, but the grapevine is saying he is working with the DB's.
- Michigan Basketball lost to Illinois at home on Sunday. Thier NCAA Tournament chances are starting to slip away.
