If I had to guess, Denard Robinson has lived in just a few places in his life: Deerfield Beach, Jacksonville, and Ann Arbor. After his NFL playing career ended with the Jags, he did give one of the pro Spring leagues a try and then got hired on to a small local college team to coach. After that he landed a role with Jags and has been doing that ever since. Even with Urban there for a minute.
In the spirit of bringing back beloved former Wolverines back to Ann Arbor. Jimmy has hired Denard for a player personnel role. This has not been announced by U of M yet, but every reporter and their brother are reporting it as confirmed.
This is a fantastic move and just brings back even more Michigan tradition to the program. Mike Hart, Mike Elston, Denard, Grant Newsome and not to forget the head man himself is a great way to show students and recruits the special place that Ann Arbor really is.
Shoelace will now get to untie a pair of Jordan PE's. I wonder if the guy on the last cover of EA NCAA Football will help recruiting at all?
- Michigan Basketball won its first game without Juwan last night beating Rutgers. Now the road gets much tougher with Illinois and MSU coming to town.

I forgot Denard was on the cover of EA Football! (Though 'not officially' lol). I really enjoy this blog. It is becoming my go to page for Michigan football. Thank you for the interesting columns!
I think that is a good move bringing Denard back. From what I heard anybody that's ever met him, likes him, so that role seems perfect for him. Welcome back...
As long as he doesn't help to teach the QBs on how to throw the football! I thought he was a great running back but a so-so QB.
True, too short to be an effective passer...
