Michigan Tuesday: News and Notes

Michigan Womens Basketball run ended last night in a loss to Louisville.  Congratulations on a historic run and to Naz Hillmon who will probably go down as the best player to ever dawn the Maize and Blue for the Lady Wolverines.

  • Will Johnson signs a big NIL deal with a Michigan Restaurateur.
  • Steiner Brothers are being elected to the WWE Hall of Fame.  Funny personal story, used to work with a lady that dated Scott back in his heyday.
  • Is ND leading for 5-star QB Dante Moore out of Detroit?  Michigan has clearly lost some momentum here with the loss of Josh Gattis.
  • Detroit Lions got two gifts from the NFL yesterday.  They will be on Hard Knocks and will receive the NFL Draft in 2024.
  • Michigan Basketball has offered former LSU commit 5-star PG Marvel Allen who is a current teammate of Michigan signee Gregg Glen.
  • Michigan's OC and DC (Sherrone Moore and Jesse Minter) both make $900K a year.

Interesting seeing the offer to Allen, let's keep our fingers crossed! We can definitely use another good point guard. Frankie will be the starter next year without a doubt, but without Eli, we are seriously lacking in that department. Bufkin is a possibility, but I see him more as a 2 than at the 1.

Also in the 7 degrees of separation category, I once dated the ex of Matt Shafer. Who's that? Look him up. Lol

I think there is a bigger possibility of Hunter staying than people think. A lot will depend on the draft projection. I'd say 60/40 of him going pro.
