Clown Show

Do you remember what it felt like when Michigan Basketball was playing last season?  When Juwan was out due to medical reasons, came back and the team just wasn't any good on any level.

That is where we are with this Michigan Football team.  They are not good.  They have good players who are probably considering business decisions now.  Will might already have, Mason, Kenny, and Colston have decisions to make.

Illinois is a mid-level Big Ten team and Michigan can't even be competitive with them.  For the life of me, I have no idea how Vegas hade Michigan favored.

The coaches have completed failed this team.  This team was lost from the first snap on offense.  The defense which played decently, had a ton of 15 yard penalties to keep drives going and points scoring.  Somehow even our special teams has gone to shit.  Giving up fake punts, shanked punts, and missed field goal due to a mishandled snap.

This season went from bad to embarassing.  Do you think this team can be competitive with IU, Oregon, and OSU?  No chance.  That leaves MSU and Northwestern.  I'm not sure this team has the confidence to even beat Sparty next weekend.   The players and coaches are completely lost.

Sherrone is in trouble.  He really is, this is a Hoke/RR level disaster this season.  The best Michigan is going to do is 6-6  and even that is in question.  With the transfer portal, you have every opportunity to fill your needs.  IU has a MAC QB that is winning games for them.  Sherrone completely failed in this area and its showing on the field.   Tuttle is in the pocket looking like a guy trying to not to throw a pick, instead of trying to complete a pass.  For the National Champion not to have a viable QB on its roster, is a reason alone to lose your job.

Time to play the freshmen.  This season is now about playing for next season.

Fire this entire coaching staff. Connor Stallions could do a better job. I can't watch this shit show.

Sherrone is in way over his head. Completely undisciplined team in every facet. He shows no emotion on the sidelines and seems lost. A lot of the players look like they have no intensity and heart. Purdue scored 49 on this team, and we score 7??? There are 5 potential 1st round draft picks on this team and others who could have NFL careers. There is no excuse for this! They could have found even a Division II or Division III Qb who could have done better than this!

And this was with TWO WEEKS to prepare! Chowman called it when he said it's only gonna get worse.

So watched the 1st half of the Iowa/MSU game. Jack Tuttle is Cade McNamara lite and Cade sucks! Iowa's offense is ass! We're going to lose BIG! This team might very well go 4 and 8. Beat Northwestern and you go 5-7. Sherrone is a fall guy. A sap! Michigan has the NCAA's NoA over the sign stealing scandal. NO coach worth a shit was coming here to coach this team with sanctions hanging over head. Sherrone had one job: to get fired! Until the NoA is cleared, we're in purgatory!
As far as guys shutting it down? I don't blame them. If I was them or their advisors, I'd tell them eff that team. Pull a Bosa and get ready for the draft!

In the immortal words of James Dalton(Road House): its going to get worse before it gets better

My son says that Connor Stallions needs to save Michigan football again by releasing the texts between him and Sherrone 😂

Bob said everything I wanted to say ....."clown show", best we finish 6-6, and play the freshman, Davis needs to play every down for the remaining five games (no talk of a few series Please) ....if Sherrone does not to that he is a total loser. Somebody convince Sherrone to recruit in Butler, Pa. wearing a Trump mask.... we need somebody ....poach Indiana coach? A Deon Sanders clone? Unless we embrace the New Wave" we could be like this for a very longtime.

A letter to Sherrone: We are all pulling for you in your next career. perhaps you could work your way up to janitor like Leon Spinks. I bet you can say "Want fries with that" better than anyone else. God Speed. Every loser can turn themselves into winners, first run (don't walk out of Ann Arbor).

2 weeks to prepare for Illinois with no improvement, in fact an offense that looks even more distress, is all on the coaching staff where changes obviously need to be made.
In looking to play Jaydn Davis who has limited escape ability, that's needed with our porous OL, and limited receiving core, I'd be more concerned in keeping him healthy.

What next year? Half or more of the defense goes to the NFL. Mullings, Edwards and others are gone (our only current playmakers). We will not have a qb with any game experience. Current coaching is non-existent. As Angelic Chengelis once said, "this will set Michigan Football back ten years"...

As a lifelong Michigan fan this feels all too familiar. We find a little success we reach the top, we make our mark. Only to realize soon after that we are destined for another decades long rebuild. Where’s the consistency that others seem to establish? Why is that consistent presence in the top 10 programs of college football so difficult for Michigan yet seemingly easy for the osu’s , Clemson, Alabama, Georgia, he’ll even old miss has had a pretty good run lately. I don’t see coach moore correcting this & also don’t want another circus of a coaching search with a mediocre result at the end. However I believe that’s our destiny. Sad 😔

Guys, just take it easy. This is a rebuilt year. We're fine. We lost tons of player coaching staff and many other things will be fine. Just relax. Take it easy. Be patient. We'll come back and get this thing next year

Blue for life

To show the enormity of the situation, Purdue (1-6) put on 49 points against Illinois . We got 7 (YIKES)!=========================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================

Where do we go from here? As Bob just wrote "Time to play the freshmen. This season is now about playing for next season", and next season's first priority is bringing in a stud quarterback .... would a quarterback such as bryce underwood be in that conversation?

Experts are predicting next year will be even WORSE. Sherrone cannot stay another year. We are already turning into the laughing stock of college football. Does Warde have the knowithall to make the change?

I dont want things to get to the point where Sherrone is hated and despised around here, but that's exactly what will happen if he continues to drag this glorious program through the mud.

Jadyn Davis allegedly is working on correcting his throwing motion.

You don't want any part of Prime or Prime-like. First, he doesn't recruit well, he doesn't recruit at all, he leaves it to his staff. I have 2 cautions with Cignetti! One, he's in his 60s already, not sure how long term he'd be. 2nd, he's not for everyone. He's pretty abrasive and doesn't take anyone's shit. Not the school President, not the AD, not the boosters/alums! Not sure how that would fly in AA?

Chowman said...

After watching this game I'm not sure any QB can save this program! The rot is at the top. You just have a whole staff that's not up to the task and Wink that doesn't give an eff!

Chowman said...

If the staff isn't let go and are brought back, I won't even bother to watch. I'll HATE watch this year as I hope each ensuing loss is a step closer to Moore getting canned. If he's back next year, I'm not!

Chowman said...

The issue this time is the program never capitalized on the success of the past 3 years. Recruiting didn't get the bump it should of! Why? Just MHO but Jim was more interested in shaking his money maker for the NFL than building a dynasty.

Chowman said...

Get out of here with the cream pie stuff. It be one thing if there were viable options to back fill but they need seasoning. There's no QB, there's no WRs, you get past the 2 stud DTs and there's a fall off. And what about edges? after Stewart and Moore there's nobody jumping off the page! Michigan and Hairball failed to capitalize on the success of a historic 3 yr run, recruiting has been substandard!

I’ve been silent for a long enough on the state of their offense. This is unbelievable. It’s embarrassing. They had a bye-week to prepare for Illinois, and they looked worse on offense.

1. You can’t win when you’re losing the turnover battle.
2. This far into the season it’s extremely negligent to not know who you have and how to use them. They have no identity. In my opinion, power running with Mullins, use Edwards primarily as a receiver out of the backfield, and use the run to set up play action and occasionally run a short pass play and screen to keep the D honest.
3. I don’t know how they don’t have a quarterback. Tuttle is the guy, but he’s a backup on a Top 25 team. Warren isn’t good and Orji is a tight end, not a QB.

In the short term, Campbell can stay, but Sherrone Moore needs to be the final word on play calling the remainder of the season (if this currently is not being done). Once the season is over, they need to upgrade their OC and position coaches. After they complete the coaching upgrades, they need to put getting high level QBs at the top of the list.

What happened to the cheers and jeers part of the post? Hahahahaha

Guys, I think you guys are being too hard on Michigan.. give them a year to rebuild and see what they do next year

MichiganMan said...

If they are allowed to use nil money, I think we'll be fine

Being too emotionally involved is not healthy. I used to tape their game last year and only watched it if they won.. The games are meant for fun! Don't take it too literally!
