When Rod Moore blew out his ACL in the last years off season, some projected he could make it back for the Ohio State game. That of course didn't happen and it was not surprise that he didn't play in the Bowl Game either.
What was interesting is Rod didn't participate in Spring Football. We expected he would be fully healthy at this point and ready to play some ball. So when he wasn't participating we thought the coaches were just being overly protective of their star safety. Well that wasn't case and Rod had to have a 2nd procedure to clean up his knee, per Sherrone. Coach did say he is trending in the right direction and all expectation is he will be ready for summer conditioning and full go for the start of the season.
- In old/new news - Steve Clinkscale has gotten a 2 year show clause from the NCAA and Jesse Minter has gotten 1 year as their case was settled separately from the others.
