Michigan Monday: Everybody Loves Everywhere

The transfer portal is closed, Spring Practice is over, and Fall Camp has not begun.  So it's recruiting season and Michigan will have a boat load of talent in Ann Arbor every weekend this month.   Last weekend was no exception.    No matter where any recruit goes for a visit, they love everything about the school.  Which is great to say but the bottom line now, with the new NCAA ruling, is how much?

Recruiting high school talent in Football and Basketball is now down to one simple sign $.  Sure you want the program to be a good fit culturally and academically but recruits will find many schools that fit that bill.   But will playing for the program, pay the bills?

Next weekend is another big weekend.  As one of the top RB's in the country will be in town Savion Hiter.  Savion has been on Michigan's radar for a long time and the insiders say its a Michigan - ND battle for talented RB. Those are also the 2 schools with the highest offers.  Let's hope the Wolverines "Hit it off" with Savion.   😀

Here are some customary quotes from the past weekend:

OT Felix Ojo, "They have every resource to help you get to where you want to go."

DE Trenton Henderson, "Next great from DlineU??"

LB Nick Abrams, "It reassured everything I was feeling. Georgia set the bar really high. I think Michigan matched it.”

DB Donovan Webb, My visit was amazing... I loved everything about Ann Arbor.” "Great weekend in Ann Arbor!"

LB Brayden Rouse, Everyone I interacted with was amazing and everyone treated me and my family with great hospitality"
