Michigan Tuesday: Michigan Delivers a DE and Another One on the Way?

Michigan Football received a commit from 2026 4-star DE McHale Blade out of Chicago who sounds like a new detective cop show on CBS.  "You know better then to pull a Blade on Detective Blade!"

Blade is a 6'4 and 245 pound edge who Michigan beat out ND for his services.  He is a 4-star to all the services and a top 200 player.  When your an elite football player in Chicago and want to go to a top tier program your family can drive to, its pretty much ND or Michigan.  

Blades other offers included:  Wisconsin, Florida, Georgia, Texas A&M, USC, Miami, Tenn, Ole Miss, and many more.  

Welcome big man and I look forward to watching you sack QB's for years to come! 

Coach Moore also sent out another 👀 this morning which means another commit is coming. 

The best prediction for those eyes is 3-star 2026 DL Alister Vallejo who is expected to announce his college commitment today. His final 3 are Michigan, ND and Kansas.

Coach Lou Esposito is putting in the work and a great hire!

Love these commitments but we could use a few more on the offensive side of the ball, maybe a WR?  I know we ran the ball like Navy last season, but we now have the #1 QB in the country.

• Michigan is expected to get a visit from a backup QB in Jake Garcia from ECU who has been on a few teams and played last season.  Jake was on Miami for 2 years and ECU last year.  I also think he had a quick stop at Missouri.  At ECU last season, he completed 60% of his passes, threw 8 TD's and 12 picks.  He would be a break glass in case of emergency type of guy. He is expected to be on campus today.
