Devin Gardner is Michigan's 4th Commit for 2010

Just when you thought is was ok to sit back and watch the basketball game, Michigan lands it's top choice for QB in 2010, Devin Gardner.

Devin is rated 4 stars by Rivals and checks in at #177 in their top 250.

His announcement was supposed to be Monday, then it was supposed to be Friday, but what the heck just do it now!

This is a huge pick up for the Wolverines and they are off to a very good start for the 2010 recruiting season.

Mgoblog is reporting that he committed to the Wolverine coaches on Wednesday.

This from Rivals and Devin's coach:

He told us that he was going to commit to Michigan," stated Carter. "He's an outstanding player. He was one of the best quarterbacks last year in the state of Michigan and we expect him to get even better next year. He's versatile and he fits that offense perfectly. He can throw the ball and he also can run the football. So I think it's a good choice for him."

The 6-4, 195-pounder is considered one of the best prospects in the state of Michigan for the Class of 2010. He was named to The Detroit News all-state first team after leading the Vikings to the state finals (runner-up).
