- Augustana College football coach Brad Salem has left his head coaching job to coach the running backs at Michigan State. I guess that is a promotion.
- Speaking of MSU running backs, Glenn Winston pleaded guilty to assault for the fight in a MSU dorm that got him kicked off the team for the second and final time. Sounds like he is going to have an extended term in jail this time.
