Michigan Friday: Breaks Ground on Basketball

Michigan will take a new step in upgrading the Michigan Men's and Women's basketball program with the ground breaking of the new Player Development Center.  The ground breaking will take place on Monday at 1:00.  David Brandon, John Beilein, and Kevin Borseth will all be in attendance.

  • There are some rumors that West Branch Offensive Lineman Anthony Zettel is starting to lean towards MSU over Michigan and that a decision could be coming in Late May or June.

  • Another Ohio Glenville player is considering Michigan. He is Audrey Walker a 6'6 355 pound offensive lineman.  Of course Glenville is an Ohio State feeder school but it seems Audrey is really going to give Michigan a serious look.

  • Big Chill Tickets are now at 100,000

  • Michigan Iowa football game time is set at 3:30.

  • Did you know that in the Big East if you transfer to another Big East school you are not allowed to play the same sport?  For example, if you are playing football at Syracuse and want to transfer to Louisville.  You are free to do that you just can't play football.   That is pretty harsh and I'm sure Justin Boren is happy that's not a rule in the Big Ten.  In the Big Ten you just can't be on scholarship.
