Coach Hoke said this weekend that Tamani Carter has left the team:  He's a great young man, a tremendous kid. He decided to leave, and we'll leave it at that," Hoke said.  My guess this was a playing time transfer.  He was pretty deep on the depth chart.   Tamani is close with 2013 commitment Taco Charlton and hopefully this won't factor into his recruitment.   Let's hope Tamani finds a schools that is a good fit for him.  If your wondering, I don't expect Michigan to sign more then 25 players in the 2013 class.  This only leaves about 22 open spots for next year.  So the coaches are expecting at least 3 more.

• Clark and Fitz are back practicing with the team, no word if they will play in Dallas:  “They paid a heavy price and will continue to pay a price for actions unbecoming of a Michigan football player,” Hoke said.

• Roundtree has knee surgery:  "He had a little cartilage he needed cleaned up," Hoke said. "We expect him back in two weeks. Everything went great, and he feels great. It wasn't even in practice - he felt it walking back to the huddle. With him, he's one of the great kids on this football team. As a senior he'll do a great job of bouncing back."

• Denard on Bolt:  "I've watched him run, and I'm pretty sure I can beat him in a 40-yard dash," Robinson said at Michigan's media day Sunday. "I'd get a better start, and I could take him. "At 60 yards, I'd be in trouble, and at 100 meters, he'd be gone, but I could get him in a 40."
