Big Ten Football Weekend Preview

How does the decision by OSU not to take their bowl ban last year look now? (I know they didn't think they would be getting one).   They could be in the mix for the BCS National Championship game.   Instead they chose to play Florida in the Gator Bowl that nobody even really watched.   Now they have 2 more games in their season, one on the road and one named The Game.

Big Ten Game of The Week

OSU at Wisconsin (Wisc. -2.5) This week the Buckeyes have maybe their hardest game of the year.   They have to travel to Wisconsin to play a Badgers team that is on their 3rd QB and wondering what type of team they are.   The same could be said for the Buckeyes:  they struggle against California, Indiana and Purdue but blow out Nebraska.  Who knows which teams will show up on either side.   This is OSU's 4th and final road game of the year and outside the Penn State game, OSU has struggled on the road.  I hope having OSU's FB playing LB comes to haunt them next week.  I really have no idea on how Vegas can put a line on this game and they have the 3 loss Badgers favored at home.    OSU seems to find away to win.   OSU 28 Wisconsin 24

Northwestern at Michigan State (MSU -7): The Wildcats did not enjoy their trip to the State of Michigan last week and now they have to make a return trip to the Great Lakes State to play the Spartans.  Both teams this year has found a way to lose.   I guess they can't tie, so Northwestern 31 MSU 28

Minnesota at Nebraska (Neb -20):  Nebraska fans are booking tickets to Indy.  Minnesota is going to a bowl game.  Both are surprising.  Michigan fans are hoping that Nebraska has one of their head scratching home losses in this one.    Nebraska 41 Minnesota 21

Purdue at Illinois (Pur -7):  This is your non-watchable game of the week.  Purdue 28 Illinois 17

Indiana at Penn State (PSU -18.5):  Penn State won't have to worry about bad call in this one.
PSU 44 IU 14

Iowa at Michigan is be previewed on Friday morning.

Sure do hate to see this once promising season come to a close. I feel we should have no losses at this point, but sloppy play and coaching decisions did the team in...I'll be glad to see the return of a pro style offense in the future. GO BLUE...BEAT BuCKNuTs next week, and get some revenge on Iowa this week!!!
