Michigan Friday: Updates Visitors This Weekend

Michigan has a nice list of recruits in this weekend, which is the end of the Michigan Basketball recruit cycle.   The next recruiting carrot will be Spring Practice for recruits and then the Spring Game.

  • Don't Call It a Comeback:  Because he will be on campus three weeks in a row.   Drake Harris will make another trip to Ann Arbor this weekend for the IU game.  Drake is either really interested in Michigan Football or is a college basketball fan.   Let's hope it's both!  Drake still confirms he is a Michigan State commit.  Could you imagine how crazy the Michigan fan base would be going if a Michigan commit spent 3 weekends in a row in EL?

  • OL Tommy Doles could be on commit watch this weekend.  He has had Michigan his leader for sometime now.  With a small class expected, he could pull the trigger this weekend or soon after.

  • Malik McDowell will also be in town again and this is his second time in three weeks.  MM is the top player in Michigan and still contents he is nowhere near to a decision.

  • TE Nic Weishar is a 4 star guy but many believe he is heading to ND.  We will see after his visit this weekend.

  • CB Jalen Embry is a DB out of Detroit.  He doesn't have an offer yet but the Wolverines coaches are keeping an eye on him for one down the line.

  • Carl Fuller is an instate LB but with one LB already committed and Michigan in on a few high profile guys, it might be tough for Carl to get an offer.

  • 2015 prospects: S Tyree Kinnel and QB Jayru Campbell also might also make it in.

Remember Gunner Kiel?  He was the 5 star QB that committed to IU and then LSU and then enrolled early at ND.  Well, he is now transferring from ND.  Not sure where he is looking but I don't expect the Wolverines to be interested.

Remember Jerry Montgomery?  Ok, it's only been a week.  Well guess who got Oklahoma offers this week?  Artavis Scott and Lawrence Marshall, all is fair in love and recruiting.

Go Blue!  Beat IU and get a share of the Big Ten Championship!
