Wolverine Wednesday: Coaches Are Hitting The Road

It seems the Michigan coaches wanted to complete Spring Ball early, so they could get a jump on recruiting for the 2015 and 2016 classes.    Coach Nuss is expected to visit a number of QB's and watch them workout/throw.   With a potential of a very small 2015 class, the Michigan coaches have been very selective in handing out scholarship offers.

Here are a number of new offers that were just handed out:  Abdul Bello, OT from Florida, Miles Boykin, WR from IL, Deondre Francois QB from Florida, Tyler Jordan, OT Florida, William Sweet OT from Florida, Auden Tate, WR from Florida, Dexter Williams RB Florida, Cameron Chambers, WR Philly, Tavares Chase, WR Florida, and Nate Craig, WR Florida.

It's great that Michigan is hitting Florida hard again, but I wonder what the chance is pulling those guys up north to Ann Arbor?

  • Michigan coaches will visit former Nevada 6'8 forward Cole Huff today.  He already has visits to Iowa, Creighton and Dayton set up.  Cole would not be eligible to play next year.

  • Aubrey Dawkins is visiting Dayton today.  Aubrey received a Michigan offer last weekend from John Beilein.

  • If you read the tea leaves on Michigan recruiting Cole which seems to match the latest buzz that Mitch is now leaning at turning pro.

  • If you are worried about Derrick Green's weight gain.  Check out this photo, I would say that is no longer a concern.
