Yesterday at about 1:00 PM Michigan offered 2016 QB from Trotwood Madison Ohio, Messiah DeWeaver. At 4:30 the young man committed to Michigan. That is man with a plan and when his offer came through he didn't waste anytime.
Messiah is 6'3 and 200 pounds and is only ranked by 24/7 which gives him a 4 star grade. He has been to Michigan's camp for a couple of years now and he also showed his talents at the SMSB last week as well. Messiah is also a good student and carries a 4.2 grade point average at Trotwood Madison. His early offer list included: Cincinnati, Kentucky, Louisville, Toledo, and Western Kentucky.
Speaking of Trotwood you might remember this school sending past Wolverines including: Roy Roundtree, Brandon Moore, Reon Dawson and Mick McCray. So Michigan has a really nice pipeline built at that school.
Does Michigan need a Messiah? Well, they got one.
If your interested in his many camp reviews, I suggest you take a gander over a Mgoblog on their write up. He has attended a ton of camps and has plenty of press on him.
This is a nice early pick-up for a kid with a big upside and two years of high school ball still left. He joins four-star OT Erik Swenson as the only two members in the 2016 class.

As if we don't need some salvation in our program right now!!! (Lord, I apologize for that.)
He is already talking about recruiting the best players to surround himself with... My guess is he'll be working on O-Line guys first!
