Brian at Mgoblog says that Jimmy accepted the job on 12/22.
Some rumors are: DJ Durkin (former Gators DC and current interim head coach) will take the Michigan DC job and OC is Greg Roman (OC of the 49'ers) per Gregg Henson.
Others rumored are:
Greg Mattison in a defensive role (co-DC and maybe Dline?)
Ty Wheatley - Running Game Coordinator?
Andy Moeller offensive line (currently the OL coach for Cleveland Browns) ?
Roy Manning probably LB's coach?
Curt Mallory staying as DB coach?
More to come on Harbaugh's staff as I'm sure a few of these guys have decisions to make.
Recruits seem to be very excited about the hire. The fun begins tomorrow!

Love seeing Andy Moeler with the team..I've always been a huge fan of his dad..we bring in DJ then here come the recruits....this is looking nice plus seeing all these former Wolverines back in the fold just adds to the intensity to these young wolverines..I will be glued to my TV at noon and can't guarantee the emotion of seeing Jimmy in maze and blue will keep eyes from watering

Would waiting until after the 'silent' period cost Michigan a recruiting class? It looks like Jim will be picking from the kids who WANT offers to fill the class, rather than offering a pool of kids to get enough commitments to fill the class.
