- More and more people are starting to predict Jaylen Brown to Michigan. Sam Webb has a DetNews article up on why he likes Michigan so much. It sounds like Michigan is a player in his recruitment but I will believe it when I see it. When Michigan goes up against the UK's of the world in recruiting, it usually finishes with the wrong Blue color. Hopefully, we will have a decision soon. I'm cautiously optimistic.
- 4 star guard Kenny Williams will visit A2 on May 18th.
- Big Day for Funchess on Thursday or maybe even Friday. He is no longer considered in the top WR group after his slow 40 time at the combine. I like Devin but his slow 40 and some bad drops last year will probably move him to the second round.
- 5 Star Ann Arbor Skyline LB and USC commit Daelin Hayes preformed well at a Rivals camp over the weekend. It's hard to believe Michigan has a 5 star guy in their own backyard and they don't seem to be a player in his recruitment. I know we are a long way from signing day but this recruitment doesn't seem at all positive for a Michigan decision from either the player or the Michigan coaches. Daelin hasn't played much football the last two years and still is rated a 5 star recruit to Rivals.
- If you remember California WR Devin Lucien recruitment 4 years ago, he was turned down by Hoke at a time when Michigan needed wide receivers (rumor has it, Hoke offered him a spot on defense not offense), which pushed him to UCLA. He is now transferring to Arizona State for his graduate year. I know there continues to be rumors that Michigan will add a graduate transfer WR, but I think it's getting pretty late in the process for that to happen.
