On Friday, my post was titled Step 1, well Step 2 seems to have run into a brick wall. Per Dan Patrick, the Big Ten and PAC 12 are expected to cancel Fall Sports on Tuesday. That the Big Ten had a vote and it was 12-2 to cancel (Iowa and Nebraska were the 2 that voted to play).
This was a day many of us thought would come but hope it wouldn't. The big question remains, now what?
- Winter - Spring Season? The Big Ten has 3 NFL indoor football stadiums in its footprint that I can think of Detroit, Indy, and Minnesota. Would that be an option?
- Have we seen the last of the likes of Kwity and Nico?
- How does scholarship eligibility work?
There is a million more logistical things on what's next, but this is just a sad day.
We have to stop this damn virus and complete vaccine testing. Do your part!
Rocco as expected picked ND on Saturday. He promised his late grandfather on his death bed that he would go to school in South Bend. So what can you do?
This is a big loss for the Wolverines as they are missing out on the top talent in the state. #2 Payne to Alabama, #3 Dellinger to LSU, and now #4 Spindler to ND. Michigan is of course chasing Donovan Edwards the #1 player in the state to 24/7 composite.
Not a good weekend my friends, not at all.

It was a beautiful weekend..... Tigers swept the pirates and we will not lose to Osu this year, as far as Rocco, he made the right choice, there is a reason that his teammate went elsewhere as well, Harbaugh... these kids of elite talent can see the reality of the situation when visiting on the sidelines of these schools, Brian Kelly is a true pro, Harbaugh is a name... a very loud out... liner to third...
Sad indeed! And the data to support that this is a good idea? No where to be found, only a bunch of media-driven hysteria. College athletes are no more vulnerable to this virus than they are the flu and the data says more will die from the flu. The country is running scared from everything from virus's to faux racist hyperbole. Now is when we need college football, something that brings people together and creates bonds.
Guys, I just back from Dubai again...went there for a vacation and business trip....what a mess we have here in the states. As for Michigan wow....everyone is leaving...i'm not surprised...made some cash on TEN and HLX...cash money baby.....fire Dump Brown and Clown Harbaugh...please ASAP
I just read a report from the WolverineWire that says the Big Ten has *NOT* canceled the season. At least not yet. "Glad" to see that the Big House Report's resident clown has returned. Btw, Chris Hutchinson supports them playing this fall.

Stop with the college athletes are not vulnerable! Look at Brady Feeney of IU! Yeah, he's one example, but 1 too many if you ask me. Look if not getting my college football fix prevents another Brady Feeney I'm good. If everybody would of just taken it seriously, done the 6-8 wks wearing masks and practicing social distancing after the shelter in place was eased, we're probably not talking about cancelling the B1G season. But instead everybody was more concerned about their liberties and their rights and had to make mask wear a political statement. You have 3rd world countries looking at how we are handling Covid and shaking there heads. It's actually kind of embarassing that the greatest country on this planet has had such a piss poor response to covid. And don't twist this into left vs right, I'm neither and both are culpable as they chose partisan politics over what's best for the country. Again, nothing new there!
How about twisting this into a strength vs weak? Gullible vs those who refuse to panic? The data doesn't support the fear. You can go bunker down and be as gutless as you'd like....help yourself, totally your right. But there is not data that supports cancelling the season. Take your media-driven cowardice and shove it!
