Mike DeBord's Comedy Stylings #2

Mike DeBord is not a bad coach. He had a very successful career at U of M and not so successful stint has the head coach of Central Michigan. After coach Rod came in, Mike took an assistant Offensive Line coach job with the NFL Seahawks. Yes, Mike will be getting two pay checks this year, one for the final year of his contract at Michigan and at his new gig with the Seahawks.

With all that said, he has had some very funny stuff written about him in this long off season. This recent linked article has this gem:

DeBord was a candidate to replace Lloyd Carr as the head coach at the University of Michigan, and when that did not pan out, he opted to take a job as assistant offensive line coach for the Seattle Seahawks.

Sorry Mike, you had very little chance at being the next Head Coach of the Wolverines. I also hope Mike understands that he is working for another Head Coach that will be retiring next year. Either way, I do enjoy the comedy!

  • Here is a good story on 5 Star verbal commitment: William Campbell. Many have questioned if Will is a Michigan lock because he is visiting other schools. Will had this to say:
"I am solid with Michigan," said Campbell. "I am going to Michigan. I'm just going around to see (other schools). I just want to travel."
  • ND Football is no where to be found on local South Bend radio stations. The rumors that Charlie at all the stations were reported to be un-true.
