Will "Hang Time" Hagerup Goes Blue

One of yesterday's visitors to the Big House was Will Hagerup one of the best (if not the best) high school punters in the nation. Will had been visiting schools around the nation and decided he had seen enough after getting home on Saturday.

Will verbally committed to Coach Rod and the Wolverines to the Class of 2010. "It was a great visit, I felt extremely comfortable with all the coaches and people,"

Will is Michigan's 19th commitment to the 2010 class and will replace Zoltan as Michigan's punter next year. He is rated a 3 star (most top kickers/punters are 3 stars) prospect by both Scouts and Rivals.

Will's brother punts for Indiana.

#1 Punter who can kick 50 yard FGs. Wow! I really thought he might go to Florida because of Meyer's heavy focus on special teams.

Nice job RR.

He was the only punter on the Michigan coaches board. It was him or bust for next year and they got their guy!
