Thankfully.
Congratulations to the Michigan Defense for giving up 14 points. You did enough and deserved the win.
The Michigan offense showed it's youth, inexpensive and it's ability to lose the game. Freshmen some days look like seniors and other days look like high school seniors.
I'm sad for the seniors and not having a bowl game for the second straight year. Not having a healty Minor and Brown was difficult in a close game.
So one season ends and two begin. Recruiting and Basketball. I'm pretty sure Michigan didn't do anything to embarrass themselves with the dozen of Blue Chip recuits in attendance and the basketball team is 2-0. Go Blue!

My thoughts exactly. The turn overs were not good but we did play with two true freshman QB's this year. Last year they were playing high school ball and rubbing Clearicil on their facial zits while looking at their Hanna Montana posters. Now their playing OSU, Wisky, PSU, etc. We need to give them a break. Michigan has been playing with freshman QB's for two years in a row. OSU took advantage of freshman mistakes. In fact, most of the offense is young and still forming.
Michigan's defense played better overall this game than they've done most of the Big Ten year. If they play at this level coming back next year, they will win more games.
At best Michigan should have won this game maybe 16-14 and at worst should have lost maybe 14-13. Offensively, OSU must have seen something on film that caused them to wait for Tate to throw their way and plus he was throwing too low at times. These are all freshman mistakes that will be reduced and corrected next season. The defense has stepped up this game against a very good/solid offense. In other words, this defense played well enough for Michigan to have won this game, but the turn overs killed this team today. Yes, they still need more work, but it is encouraging.
Hey Bob,
Are you ALL IN or are you a naysayer?
I'm watching you
