The Calm Before the Storm

So there isn't much going on right now as recruits try to make their final decisions. Here is some of the latest information out there:

  • Seantrel Henderson (the nations #1 or #2 recruit) seems to be down to Ohio State, USC, and Miami. Some have speculated that USC has come on strong in the last week.

  • Per TomVH's Twitter Account: Jay Minton, Terry Talbott's coach sent me an email: "Terry's head is spinning, I wish I could tell you what he'll do."

  • Per the Toledo Blade: Avery said he's been texting Parker in hopes of swaying the four-star prospect to Ann Arbor. Courtney Avery is a CB recruit from Ohio and will sign with Michigan on Wednesday.

  • Sean Parker will announce his choice on ESPNU at 10:00 am EST

  • Michigan has 11 recruits from the State of Ohio this year

  • Tom Luginbill continues to say good things about the Wolverines: “I’m actually one of the few people, and I think our staff is, too, that actually thinks Michigan is doing a better job than people are giving them credit for,” Lugnibill said. “They’ve upgraded their overall skill set offensively, not only at running back, at wide receiver, so I think that they’ve gotten better at their skill spots, which is what you’ve got to have offensively.”--- “You don’t take a program that for years and decades and decades was based up strength, size and power, and then all of a sudden, with a 180-degree turn, hire a coach that’s going to be about speed, quickness and agility and change an 85-man roster over night,” he said. “I don’t think that’s reality. I think that takes some time. I don’t think you can wave a magic wand.”

  • From the Palm Beach Post: The Gators did have 26 commitments, but they recently parted ways with 4-5 star athlete Demar Dorsey, in large part because of his checkered legal past. It seems he was found not guilty.
