ESPNU Recruiting = Fail

Tonight's GridIron Kings was a great showcase for kids from Texas and Florida.  Dee Hart played well, showing great speed and athleticism.  Dee impressed me with his hands by catching the ball down field and showing his speed to separate himself from defenders.  He even entertained the crowd by doing a back flip after a touchdown catch.  I can see why Michigan is all over this young man.   He looks like a great fit in RR's spread in the backfield or in the slot for the Maize and Blue.  Dee was also named to the all performance team.

The problem with the show tonight is the clear mistake ESPNU made is showing Dee's list of schools that he is considering.  They listed Alabama, Colorado State, Notre Dame, Florida State, and Miami as schools he is considering.  I'm sure ESPN's Recruiting guy Tom Luginbill knows that Dee recently mentioned Michigan as his leader, so that list doesn't make any sense.   Alabama is really only the accurate school on the list.

The only reason I can imagine that they didn't list Michigan was due to Desmond Howard being in the booth and doing color for the showcase on ESPNU.   Of course, Desmond wouldn't be able to recruit Dee or any other player at the GridIron Kings Showcase to Michigan.
