Michigan Thursday: Is there Justice in Ann Arbor?

There was last weekend when highly rated Michigan running back Justice Hayes spent some time with Coach Fred Jackson on the campus of The University of Michigan.   Justice has been rumored to be leaning towards Notre Dame due to the recruitment of Dee Hart and Michigan's losing record the last two years.  Some insiders have even suspect that if Michigan had won more games the last two years that Justice would have already committed to the Maize and Blue.

So why the ND lean?  I'm not sure, Brian Kelly likes to throw the ball way more then run the ball and Rich Rod's spread is more about running then passing.  Either way, it seems we will know soon as Justice said he is expecting to announce his decision on July 30th.

Right now we have more questions then answers regarding his recruitment.   Did Fred do enough selling to keep Justice in Ann Arbor?  Is Mr. Hayes put off by the way Michigan is recruiting Dee Hart?  Does Michigan want two running backs in this class?  Did BK sell Justice on the ND running attack? Either way we will know a week from Friday.

  • Take a behind the scenes tour of the Big House this fall.
  • The Daily previews Michigan Special Teams.
  • Did you ever wonder what former Michigan State and Detroit Lions head coach is up to?  No, me either.
  • LaMar Woodley is still giving back to his home town of Saginaw.
  • This guy doesn't think much of Michigan's current QB or former Michigan verbal commit.  Not sure I agree with his grades.
