Michigan Monday: Likes Jaron

Ace from Mgoblog caught up with weekend visitor Jaron Dukes a 2013 WR recruit.  Here is his visit reaction: 

JARON: Oh, I loved it. It was the best.
ACE: Do you want to expand on that? Take me through what you saw in Ann Arbor.
JARON: I'll tell you what I saw. I saw a love for Michigan. Everybody I talked to loves the university, loves everything about it. They were a family, you could tell there was a bond everywhere you went, you could just feel it. It was just a great place to be. They took me through the facilities, they showed me the field, academic center, athletic center, I talked to the dean, everything—it was just great.

Jaron is from Columbus, Ohio and from the picture above has 3 arms.   :)   Talk about an advantage! 

• The Michigan Basketball team put together back to back wins yesterday with a 70-61 victory over Illinois.   Michigan has nearly a week off before OSU comes to town on Saturday and then they go on the road to Northwestern and back home for Purdue.   Then the Wolverines finish the season on the road to Illinois and Penn State.

• If you didn't hear over the weekend Stefon Diggs picked Maryland over Ohio State and others.  His Michigan recruitment ended when he no showed for a visit with the Michigan coaches at his home.

• The 2013 prospects from Cass Tech will visit Ann Arbor this weekend:  DT Kenton Gibbs, OL David Dawson and CB Jourdan Lewis.   I believe Lewis is the only one with an offer but we will see what happens this weekend with Gibbs and Dawson.   David Dawson has been getting a number of offers the last few weeks.  (FSU, Mizzu, OK State, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Arkansas, ASU and others).  David is already a 4 star prospect to Rivals.

• I'm sure some of you are wondering what the status is with Alex Kozan.  I have no idea and it doesn't seem like anyone else knows either.   This as been a unique recruitment.
