The recruiting business is a funny business due to coaches not being able to discuss recruits until they sign a LOI with their school. Which means all the recruiting services and web sites depend on the player spilling the beans on what is going on. Have they committed? Where are they visiting?
When players decide to stop talking the recruiting services fall short on information. That seems to be the case with Michigan's class right and what might happen next. For example:
- Michigan has one LB publicly committed and turned 2 LB visits away last weekend and now have told highly rated Dorian O'Daniel that they are full at LB and he has cancelled his Spring Game visit. Is there a silent commit?
- Minnesota WR James Onwualu was set to visit Michigan on Wednesday. Michigan asked him to cancel the visit and he picked ND later in the day. Michigan has one verbal commit at WR. Who are the coaches feeling really good about?
- Ty Isaac is on a media black out and all we know is his Michigan visit went well last weekend and he is heading out to USC this weekend. Two more RB's are visiting this weekend (Green and Smith). One spot left.
- Coach Hoke said in A2.com that Ricky Barnum will get a shot to play center in spring ball. It's clear they are gong to get the best 5 offensive lineman on the field and will shuffle some positions.
- Today is Michigan's Pro Day. Good luck to all Michigan Seniors on showing they are NFL ready!
- Chad Henne loves to play his professional football in Florida. He signed with Jacksonville yesterday.
Enjoy the NCAA Tournament today!
