It was assumed that when Mitch left school that Michigan would offer Cole Huff, the Nevada transfer. He would not be eligible next season but he was expected to come in, learn the system, get stronger and be ready to play in late fall 2015. Something happen on the way to that plan.
Cole's AAU coach tweeted he was down to Creighton and Iowa and would make a decision soon.
Michigan doesn't offer kids until they visit. Since there doesn't seem to be a visit schedule it seems, the Wolverines will bank the scholarship for next year. I'm guessing with the recent commitment of Dawkins led to Michigan holding on to that last scholarship.
