Michigan Monday: A Michigan Man, A Guy That Won't Be and a Off Season Injury

Many Michigan fans were excited about the visit of WVU transfer Eron Harris who had list of 3 schools Michigan, MSU and Purdue after leaving Bob Huggins program.   Michigan was coming off a big win on the transfer circuit with the transfer of former 5 star RB Ty Isaac and there was anticipation that Michigan might go 2 for 2 this week.

We were quickly reminded that transferring to Michigan is not an easy thing and on Friday the rumors started swirling that John Beilein and crew had ended their pursuit of Mr. Harris.   Which is  strange, since that came out just hours before his visit.     We are just left to wonder why?   If your into message board rumors,  there were questions about how many friends he was brining on the visit and those same friends really enjoyed his East Lansing visit the weekend before.

So it seems Mr. Harris will not be coming to Ann Arbor until he plays Michigan in a few years.

  • Many people ask:  What is a Michigan Man?  Here is a great example:  Jake Long donates 1 Million Dollars to a children's camp in Michigan.  The Longs announced at the function their donation of $1 million to the camp in Pinckney that will open next year and give sick children a week to enjoy the outdoors and camp-related activities. There are 12 hospitals in Michigan and one in Chicago with plans to refer children to the all-expenses-paid camp. “This was something we wanted to be a part of and help change lives,” Long said.

  • Michigan continues their trend for some of their best players going under surgery in the off season.  Blake Countess has a "Core Injury" and had surgery last week.    He is expected back for Fall Camp and shouldn't miss anytime.   Many people are speculating he has a sports hernia and has been seen walking around campus and helping out at camps, etc.     Keeping our fingers crossed that it's not serious.

  • 5 Star 2015 RB Jacques Patrick from Orlando will be in Ann Arbor today.
