Alex - early in season you ripped on Harbaugh and said we would be 7-5 or 8-4 best case. 10-2 isn’t perfect and a disappointment we got drilled by Ohio State. But 10-2 far better than most in media (and you!) predicted early on.

Playing in the peach bowl versus Florida on December 29th will definitely be the end of a disappointing year. I certainly would not go to that game at all. I would however consider going to the Fiesta Bowl on January 1st. What actually rather go to the citrus bowl than the peach bowl.

I think your passion to want to support the team is great zander! Im not getting at you personally just saying that this is not good enough and if we become ok with these types of exhibition games as college football fans let alone U of M fans than we are missing the boat....no one wants to play, watch, coach, or broadcast this game.... either a larger playoff or get ready for next year...also... i dont want to hear anything other than Brandstatter announcing a BIG title on the radio...
I didn't say I was happy with it, there are better things out there but since I can't control it I'll go and support these young men. They busted their ass all season I guess it's the least I can do.
I think it is just a reward system for student athletes for their hard work all season. They get to travel and also they get some gifts from the sponsorship. I do agree, have more teams in the playoffs. There is no true prize for coming in 5th place and beyond because those teams are not part of the final four.
So Alex? 8 or 16 team playoff...i feel like 8 is the right number...
