Michigan highest rated recruit, 5 star Walter Nolen who kept Michigan out of his top 3 on 8/7, now doesn't have the Wolverines in his most recent top 3. If your not a Michigan fan, you might believe the first sentence is the dumbest thing ever written. Walt did change out one of his teams, he replaced Florida with Georgia and kept Texas A&M and Tennessee.
Sam Webb probably the top Michigan Insider believes that Michigan still has a shot at the talented defensive tackle, even though he has twice had a top 3 this month that didn't include the Wolverines. Maybe Michigan can make his September Top 3?
The Big Ten, ACC, and PAC 12 came together and have a handshake agreement to play each other in the future. Seems like a big waste of time, since no agreement on anything was signed.
- LSU is going to required proof of vaccination prior to entering a game this fall. That should make the entry lines really short and productive.
- MSU Football Team is 95% vaccination
- Bettors are taking a risk on Michigan this season. Per Yahoo Sports:
Big-money bettors really like Michigan’s chances of making the playoff. Or perhaps they’re just tantalized by the big odds available. Just 6.1% of tickets are on the Wolverines, but those wagers make up nearly a third — 32.6% — of the total handle. Michigan is at +2000 to make the playoff.
The Wolverines’ odds to make the playoff are worse than Cincinnati (+1100), North Carolina (+1000) and Arizona State (+1000). They are also the same as Ole Miss and Auburn, two SEC teams who may not even finish in the top three of their division.
