Michigan Tuesday: New Transfer Victor "All I Want for Christmas" Oluwatimi

and a win over Georgia and the Cotton Bowl winner.

The Michigan coaches believe they have found a new/old way to win football games.  Old style power football with some "speed in space" mixed in.   To play that style next year you really need a few things.

1. Great RB's

2. A Smart QB

3. A Powerful OL

Michigan has 1 and 2 locked in and needed some help at the Center position.  So, they went out and found one of the best centers in the country in Virgina's Center Victor Oluwatimi.  Victor was one of the Rimington's finalists (best center award) and will be centering Michigan's line in the 2022 season. Victor was also named to a number of 2nd team All American squads.

Victor started his college football career at Air Force then quickly transferred to Virgina and sat out a year.  He has been one of the best centers in the country ever since having 32 straight starts and ranked #3 in PFF's rankings this year.

We all know it's hard to transfer into Michigan and when you shop in the Transfer Portal it could be hit or miss.  For all accounts and purposes, this seems to be a home run for the Wolverines who are hopefully in a Submarine in Miami preparing for the Orange Bowl.

  • Blake says his ankle is 100% now.
  • With all the bowl cancelations, Central Michigan is now playing in the Sun Bowl against Washington State.  Crazy time.
  • OSU's Garrett Wilson, Chris Olave, Haskell Garrett and Nicholas Petit-Frere will all be skipping the Rose Bowl.
  • Garrett Wilson and PSU's Jahan Dotson have both announced they are going pro.
  • Georgia QB JT Daniels is out of COVID protocol and will join his teammates today.
