My take on the Harbaugh situation continues to be the same, is that Jimmy doesn't know what he wants to do. Most believe he has a good offer on the table from Warde but the Raiders are still going through its process. If he gets an offer from the Raiders, he will then make a decision between the two. If he was 100% sold on staying, he would have signed the Michigan deal by now. Like a recruit that tells us "Michigan is my dream school" the longer it takes for them to commit, the worse it is for him making an Ann Arbor decision.
Michigan has cleaned up its dirty laundry the last few weeks and there should be nothing standing between Jimmy signing, except an NFL Owner with the worst haircut ever.
- RIP Meatloaf
- Reports are that Mike Elston is already "doing work" in recruiting by offering new guys and getting visits.
- Enjoy one of the best NFL football weekends of the year
- Reports are June Jones might be named Hawaii head coach again. Michigan plays Hawaii next season.

He shouldn't be using the NFL to negotiate a higher contract here if he's doing that let him go
Disagree Unknown. UM brought this on last year when they used his poor season to negotiate less $$. I don't think this about $$ though, I think this is about getting UM to piss or get off the pot as to supporting the program. They screwed up his season last year when they intervened in the name of covid. They also don't support the NIL as much as the other programs...which is as good as tying the coach's hands as to getting the top talent. He's also expressed a desire to get his assistants amongst the top paid. So he holds the negotiating power this time and I totally understand him using it. And if it means he bolts for Vegas, I don't blame him. I hope he stays but if he goes...bless the man and hope the best for him and his family.
Agree with Rudy... for sure he should use leverage. That said, I suspect he is not. I think he really wants to know/see what a Raider offer looks like. They seem like a mess, but who knows. I don't think that Carr is the QB to take him to the Super Bowl.
Side note - I hope Lions take Thibideaux. I love Aidan, but believe Thibideaux is a safer bet, a best for a longer period of time. Just my opinion.
They renegotiated his contract last year what else does he want you don't keep negotiating contracts every year based on performance
They don't renegotiate contracts every year? Wake up man. Happens all the time. Everybody always does what they think is best for them. Don't be mad at him for doing what he thinks is best for himself. Personally I think he stays and I hope he does...
I agree with Rudy here. Last year the media and the university put Harbaugh and his family through hell talking about how they wanted him fired and coming up with names of potential coaching candidates. The word came out that his family was "very" hurt by it and wanted to leave. The so called Michigan faithful turned on their own. Harbaugh stayed through a humiliating renegotiated contract that cut his salary at least in half and made the university's buy out lower. They acted like they didn't want the man. If Harbaugh wanted to leave then he would have been fully justified especially after bringing in an upgrade in overall talent albeit very young and inexperienced talent. The covid year hurt Michigan (and so many other schools) and that wasn't his fault although his coaching staff was piss poor anyway but he changed it over.
Now that he's gone from worse to first everyone wants him to forget how he was treated last year and to hurry up and sign. If I were Harbaugh I would also take my time and tell the same voices who squawked last year that wanted me out but are now screaming for me to hurry up and sign this new contract, to simply kiss my MF a-- and wait. (Yes I said it)
Harbaugh loves this university and he wouldn't have put up with all of this sh-t if he didn't. I hope he stays but if he doesn't it will be because you guys showed your asses and pushed him away. Then you would get what you asked for...a new losing coach. Closing question, how many coaches have shown that they can coach and win on both the college (without cheating) and NFL levels? Answer, only ONE...Harbaugh! IMHO!!!
I used to comment on here quite often, all the same goofballs as usual 2 years later or whatever it has been….(love it) listen… This is easy…. Harbaugh needs to hit the road on a high, and Matt Rhule or however you spell Mr. Panthers name, he needs to come to Ann Arbor, thanks Jim… I truly despise you still… I WILL NOT be fooled by one perfect afternoon….doesn’t mean he is an everyday Ace… his bowl record stinks, his Msu record stinks and so does his OSU record!!! NO CHANCE in Columbus next year with him there…. He breeds laughter and anger down there more than anyone….Matt Rhule to Ann Arbor very simple…. thanks Jim… (not really) you suck
Return of cmfgoblue? I think that was my name…. Hmmm idk… anyway I miss you szanreno you JERK…. All in good fun… I finally realized these were all kids playing a game…. If only I would have known that sooner… Anyway that was me before… Jim sucks
Unknown, still sleeping. Matt Rhule? Really that's your choice? Can't be...
Matt Rhule?!? Are there two of them and I'm looking at the wrong one? Help me understand. Hahahaha...
He would be a very good choice and yes that is mine right now today… he did very well in college and should not have an NFL itch like Jim does…. Young guy, proven winner, NFL experience…. That should work just fine and if not… continue to look until you find the right one
47-43 college. 10-23 pro. Tell me I'm missing something...
Matt Rhule is not proven in college or pro?!?
Rhule is proven... proven that he's mediocre.
Ok maybe your not missing anything, maybe him and his beard sucks, I would give him a shot but hey if you guys say no than fine, who else? I was trying to think of an actual option and not a dream option … also , who is left? Not that guy from Iowa State please…
They don't renegotiate contracts every year for coaches what are you talking about? He has one great year and now he wants all this money back
He wants all his money back (can't blame him, get what you can)?!? Since you know the terms of the contract please enlighten us. They do renegotiate contacts every year. Case and point, Harbaugh vs Michigan...
