Michigan Taco Tuesday

The New Orleans Saints twitter feed posted just a Taco emoji yesterday.  Telling the world, they signed former Michigan Wolverine edge rusher Taco Charlton.   As mentioned, a number of times on social media, the play here was to wait until after midnight so they could have signed him on Taco Tuesday.

Congratulations to Kansas for winning the National Championship last night.  They looked done at half time but came back from 15 down to win in the end.   They also tried to gift UNC overtime with 4 seconds left, but this time the Tar Heels could not take advantage.   That mistake if KU lost would go down with other "never to be mentioned" final second mistakes.

Congrats to Bill Self who beat the all the teams in the NCAA Tournament but still could get a "show clause" penalty for a long list of major NCAA Violations he still has pending.

  • Speaking of NCAA Violations, LSU Basketball currently has 0 players on its roster.
  • JJ is expected to be back throwing in 2 weeks
  • Hutch was in JAX yesterday for a visit.  Jacksonville you have made some silly choices in the last year or so, this one is a no brainer.
  • Deep thought of the day: When has Michigan had 4 QB's that could play well if needed?
  • Tiger played 9 holes at Augusta National on Monday, don't forget local boy and US Amateur Champion James Piot will be in the field.

Can't root for Piot, a current Sparty, sorry.

KS may never post that banner in the rafters before The Man comes and takes it away. And what a statement that will make about the sorry affairs of college sports. If KS is in fact guilty (and there is a plethora of evidence) then let them burn and be made an example. I don't think the NCAA has the balls to do it but we'll see.

Rudy- You are correct in making an example, but the NCAA has been neutered a long time ago. The only penalties are self imposed, and those come from the schools that care about their reputation and want to play it clean. Those that don't (basically every school in the SEC) couldn't care less what the NCAA thinks. I'll be surprised if anything comes of Kansas and penalties.
