Michigan Friday: Congrats Carlo

Carlo Kemp went undrafted out of Michigan in 2021, spent time with the Packers and Broncos but didn't stick anywhere in the NFL.  Carlo decided to bet on himself and played in the USFL for the Pittsburg Maulers and had a good year with 5 sacks.  That momentum has turned into a new contract with the LA Chargers.  Carlo will make his case for making the team when camp opens fully next week.

  • Loved seeing the Wolverines giving back in Flint on Thursday.  I'm looking forward to other events as the team travels through Michigan before camp opens.  Another great idea for team bonding by Jimmy.
  • This story is under reported but Michigan's newest center transfer might be the best center in the country and now Olu Oluwatimi is on the Rimington Trophy Watch List. (He finished 2nd last season).
  • Former Michigan Basketball players have signed overseas: Iggy Brazdeikis has signed with Zalgris Kaunas in Lithuania and Muhammad-Ali Abdur Rahkman signed with a team in Italy.

Iggy should have never left school early

Yeah, IMHO, Iggy made a big mistake leaving early. But, I guess that's what you get when you have too many or the wrong people whispering the wrong things in your ear.

California governor is having a "hissy fit" about UCLA going to "Big Ten" ... that's about as useful as getting knocked over by a rogue big wave in the ocean and yelling at the wave! Stuff happens, college football is fluid (AND WILL BE THAT WAY FOR NEST TEN YEARS). I AM NOT HAPPY ABOUT THE "NIL" decision, but know enough that I cannot do anything about it, can exercise my gums, but that and a dollar will not get you a cup of coffee.
