Michigan Football received a commitment from local big man Amir Herring last night. Amir is a 6'4 300 pound offensive lineman who had offers from Nebraska, Mizzu, BC, ASU, Arkansas, MSU, Penn State and others. Amir who plays tackle in high school for West Bloomfield, will probably project to guard or center in Ann Arbor.
Amir is rated as a 4 star and was an important recruit for the Wolverines to lock up in its own backyard. Welcome Amir!
- Speaking of backyard recruits 5-star QB Dante Moore is expected to commit to the Oregon Ducks on ESPN this afternoon.

- There is some question if Enow Etta will announce today
- Caleb Houstan had 20 points in his first NBA Summer League game. He scored over 20, twice for the Wolverines.
