After a very slow start to the 2023 class Michigan Football has stepped it up in July with 5 commitments already. The latest is 4-star DE Enow Etta from Texas. Enow is Michigan's highest rated recruit in the class as the #125 player to 24/7. He is 6'5 260 pounds and had offers from the likes of Alabama, MSU, Stanford, BC, CAL, FSU, USC, LSU, Tennesee and many more.
This recruitment was a bit of a roller coaster as Enow was not happy Michigan stopped recruiting one of his teammates, but after a couple of vists and everything Michigan has to offer, it was a no brainer for the talented DE.
“It was everything,” Etta told 247Sports shortly after going public with his plans. “They obviously have the track record and the education and the education was the most important thing to me. On the official visit I got to talk to the head of the Engineering School and Robotics and it was really a no brainer.
“The people, the recruits, they never stopped recruiting me. That happened at a lot of schools but those guys really feel like my brothers. I’m excited to start playing with them. It was everything. It felt right from talking to Coach Harbaugh to talking to the assistant coaches, just being on that visit felt great.”
Enow is a good student and athlete. He also plays basketball and has a frame that will benefit from Michigan's S&C program. Michigan is now putting together a very nice defensive line class but will need to look at other positions to round off this class. Offensive line, CB, and of course QB are the clear needs right now.
Michigan now has the 36th ranked class on 24/7 which is not good considering OSU is #1.

LSU? Does Paul Mubenga realize what a phony POS Brian Kelly is? I wouldn't trust a word that man says. Brian Kelly only cares about Brian Kelly. It would amaze me if Mubenga chose LSU - if I were his father I'd tell him that's the one program I'd avoid like the plague.
