Michigan Monday: Wolverines B-Ball 1-1 on European Trip

Michigan dropped its first game on its European trip to a professional French team but evened up its record with a win over a Greek Academy team 95-62 today.   In the first game, Hunter led the team with 15 points and 10 boards, grad-transfer Llewelln added another 15, and Jett had 12.  Today, Llewellyn had 18 and Jett 16.  Dickinson had 9 points & 10 boards.

  • Jake Moody was named to the 1st team AP Pre-Season All American team.
  • Rumor is that Oregon is in talks with the Big Ten.  You think Nike has anything to do with that?
  • There is a Big Ten game this weekend.  Nebraska vs. Northwestern in Ireland on Saturday at noon.
  • Fox just loves them some Urban Meyer, I just don't get it.  That is why I will never watch that pre-game show.

Don’t want Nike U in B10. Would rather they be sidelined to some other place.

Too bad for Hinton. He should have stayed one more year.

I'd prefer not Oregon, but if UCLA is going to make the bone headed decision and stay in Pac 12 then I would support Nike U. If we are going to have USC it does make sense to have another west coast team.

Had a feeling U of Nike would come calling. Really don't want them in B10, let's maintain some decorum...after all we still have Sparty and Suckeye U who prefer felons and Pedophile State who...well you know. It's amazing that in a time we consider ourselves woke and won't allow a modicum of anything that hints of racism, sexism or whatever-ism; there's still a market for the Urban Cryers. He still gets employment in spite of his repeated record of human abuse. ESPN may be broken off from Disney and could get wrecked over that in the midst of slumping revenue; Fox Sports has their chance to overtake ESPN and yet they want to hire scum.
