Michigan has been active in the transfer portal and looking to add a few more players. We never expect Michigan to add a bunch of players but if you can improve an area of need or depth its worth it. Olu this year has been a an example of a great addition and a guy that fit into the culture right away.
- Michigan picks up a LG from ASU in 6'5 310 LaDarius Henderson (who has a 35 inch reach!). Many had expected Henderson to head to the NFL Draft as a few mocks had him in the first round. Instead, he heads to the portal and joins the Wolverines. He missed a number of games this year with a finger injury but started on the offensive line as a true freshman in 2019. This should help the Wolverines if a few guys decide to head to the draft. Hayes has already accepted a Senior Bowl invite, Olu is expected to turn pro, and Keegan & Zinter have decisions to make.
- Michigan has offered Cal Poly TE Josh Cuevas out of the portal. Josh is 6'5 245 pounds and caught 58 balls last season. He did redshirt in 21 and will have 3 years to play at his next school. ASU, Utah, UW, Nevada, and Illinois have already offered.
- Michigan has offered Edge Rusher Josaiah Stewart from Coastal Carolina. He is 6'2 230 had 10 TFL's, 3.5 sacks, and 41 total tackles last season. As a freshman, he had 12.5 sacks in 2021. Stewart is also from Sainristil's high school in Mass.

- Jessie Minter did not win the Broyles Award. Hopefully, that continues to keep the talented DC at Michigan.
- Jim Leonhard is leaving Wisconsin.
- Western Michigan is trying to interview all the Michigan assistant coaches. Moore turned it down, Mike Hart and Jay Harbaugh interviewed. It seems the Louisville OC might be the leader in the clubhouse (which would be a good thing!).

Schoonmacher responded to Erik All's tweet yesterday, calling him out for throwing shade on the program. Said the UM culture is 24/7 and Michigan has the best coach in the country. Way to go Scoony! Perhaps All is just a freakin duchebag.
Here is a late question from the Purdue game. I hope someone can answer this. On one snap, and I only noticed it on one snap, the entire Purdue defensive line dove at the legs of the Michigan offensive line. Why was this not called chop blocks? Curious...
Any reason why CJ Stokes did not get any carries in the Purdue game ?
