Michigan Football has good memories when it comes to playing at Lucas Oil, so you would think they have an advantage performing at the NFL Combine. As you might expect, some performed better than others.
1. DJ Turner turned in a blazing 4.26 in the 40 and did well in the other drills. Might be a 2nd rounder now.
2. Mazi Smith didn't do drills due to a hammy but put up 34 reps on the bench, #1 for all DT's.
3. Luke Schoonmaker ran a 4.63 and did well in the short shuttle and broad jump.
4. Ronnie Bell had a good shuttle but ran a 4.54 in the in the 40.
5. Ryan Hayes had a good 3 cone but average in the other drills
6. Olu Oluwatimi had average scores in all drills
7. Mike Morris had a pretty poor combine and was having trouble staying on his feet. Hope to have a better pro day.
Brad Robbins and Jake Moody didn't participate in any drills.
- Michigan Basketball suffered another painful OT loss. Need a strong run in the BIG10 Tournament to make the big dance.

Hearing of DJ Turner's blazing speed at the combine, one question comes to mind: why didn't he see the field more? Punt returns? Kick returns? A few snaps a game on offense? You can't coach up speed. You got it or you don't! When you have elite speed like that, you'd think you'd find a way to take full advantage of it?
Chowman- We were stacked at all positions. No need to move Tuener anywhere. But I understand your point of speed.
