It seems we didn't know a ton about DJ Turner when he was in Ann Arbor. My take was, he is a solid DB but struggled on 50/50 balls. When he turned pro, I got a text from a buddy that said, "what do you think 4-6 round guy"?
Something happened on the way to those rounds and DJ ran a blazing fast 4.26 40 at the combine. He is now a "hot name" in the NFL Draft and could even find his way into the 1st Round. If Michigan was going to get into the first round, I expected it to be Mazi Smith and his freak athleticism. Mel Kiper's latest mock has DJ going to the Giants at #25. Good luck DJ I hope you break the bank!
- Speaking of 1st Round CB's. It seems the former Buckeye Jeff Okudah time in Detroit is over, as he got traded to the Falcons on Tuesday for a 5th round draft pick. #3 in the Draft to 5th Rounder, not good Lions Front Office!
- All signs point to Tony Petitti becoming the next Big Ten Commissioner. Tony has had a lot of jobs including President of Activision Blizzard, COO of MLB, CEO of the MLB Network, and leadership roles within CBS Sports.

Okudah was drafted by the old Lions regime. Brad Holmes just made the lemonade.
"not good Lions Front Office"
Not good applies to the prior FO. Holmes has done a pretty good job.
